The neighbourhood of Westmount is found in central west Edmonton. Westmount is a well-established neighbourhood, and home to many historic houses amongst its Westmount Architectural Heritage Area and Groat Estates areas. The majority of homes in Westmount are single-family homes, but according to the 2005 municipal census, the most common type of home is a mix of rented apartments and apartment style condominiums, which make up 54% of all Westmount homes.
