Minchau Edmonton Real Estate
The neighborhood of Minchau is located in southeast Edmonton, in the Mill Woods area, situated between 50th Street and the Mill Creek Ravine, north of 34th Avenue. The neighborhood was named after August Minchau, who was a Prussian immigrant who settled in Mill Woods in the late 1800s. More than three-quarters of the homes in Minchau are owner-occupied single-family style homes. Low-rise apartments make up a tenth of the homes in the neighborhood, with the remainder being duplexes. The only school in the neighborhood is Minchau School, which operates under the Edmonton Public School Board.
