The neighbourhood of Avonmore is located in south east Edmonton. Avonmore has a mix of ethnic residents, according to the 2001 federal census, with 5.9% German, 5.2% Canadian, 3.3% Ukrainian, 2.6% Scottish, and 2.0% English.
