The neighbourhood of Sifton Park is found in north east Edmonton. According to the 2001 federal census, a total of 78.8% of homes in Sifton Park were built during the 1970s. The majority of the remaining 22% were built during the 1960s and 1980s. According to the 2005 municipal census, the most common type of home in Sifton Park are rented apartments, which make up 47% of all of the homes in the neighbourhood. 32% of the homes in Sifton Park are single-family homes, 10% are row houses, and 9% are duplexes. A total of 59% are rented homes. The only school in the neighbourhood is operated by the Edmonton Public School System: Sifton Elementary School.
