The neighborhood of Tweddle Place is located in south west Edmonton. It is a part of the Millbourne community of the Mill Woods area. The neighborhood is situated between 91st Street and 76 Street, just north of Mill Woods Road. The majority of the homes in Tweddle Place were built during the 1970s, according to the 2001 federal census, when a total of 82.1% of the homes in the neighborhood were built. The majority of the homes were build by 1990. The most common type of home in Tweddle Place is the single-family home, according to the 2005 municipal census, which accounts for approximately 50% of the homes in Tweddle Place. Another 30% is comprised of low-rise apartments, and the last 20% is comprised of mostly row houses along with some duplexes. Of the four schools in the neighborhood, two are operated by the Edmonton Public School System: Malcolm Tweddle Elementary School and Edith Rogers Junior High School, one is operated by the Edmonton Catholic School System: St. Hilda Junior High School, and the last Millwoods Christmas School.
