The neighborhood of Tawa is located in south Edmonton in the Mill Woods area. It is located between 50th Street and 66th Street just south of 34th Avenue. The majority of the buildings in Tawa were constructed during the 1990s. Tawa is home to the Grey Nuns Community Hospital, as well as the EPS’ South East Division Station.
