Casselman Edmonton Real Estate

The residential neighbourhood of Casselman is found in north east Edmonton. Casselman is named after a 20th century lawyer who practiced in Edmonton. A little over half of Casselman homes were built during the 1970s, with the majority of the remainder being built in the 1980s, and a few built after 1990. The most common residence type in Casselman is the row house, according to the 2005 municipal census, and they make up 48% of the neighbourhood homes. Another 26% are made up of single-family homes, and 25% are apartments and apartment-style condominiums. A total of 66% of Casselman homes are owner-occupied, with the rest being rented. There are no schools in the neighbourhood of Casselman, so students attend school in McLeod, which is just to the west of Casselman.
