Located in the Clareview area of Edmonton is the neighbourhood of Belmont. According to the federal census in 2001, he first residences in Belmont were constructed as early as 1912, but the majority of residential construction happened during the 1970s, when 63.5% of residences were constructed, and the 1990s when 22.4% were constructed.
