The neighborhood of Weinlos is located in south west Edmonton. It is situated in the Mill Woods area, between 50th Street and Mill Woods Road East just north of 23rd Avenue. The majority of the homes in Weinlos were build during the 1980s. Single-family homes are the most common type of home in the neighborhood, and account for nearly three-quarters of the homes in Weinlos. The other quarter of the homes in the neighborhood is made up of mostly low-rise apartments, as well as a small number of duplexes and row houses. A total of 68% of the homes in Weinlos are owner-occupied. The two schools in the neighborhood are both operated by the Edmonton Public School System: Kate Chegwin Junior High School and Weinlos School.
