The neighbourhood of Pollard Meadows is found in south Edmonton. It is a part of the Mill Woods community of Southwood. According to the 2001 federal census, 33.7% of Pollard Meadows homes were built in the 1970s and 45.5% were built during the 1980s. The majority of the remaining 20.8% were built during the early 1990s. Residential development in the neighbourhood is not yet complete, according to the description of the neighbourhood on the City’s map utility. According to the 2005 municipal census, single-family homes make up 45% of the homes in the neighbourhood. Another 26% are apartments, 22% are residences and row houses, and 7% are duplexes. A total of 61% of homes are owner-occupied. The Edmonton Public School System operates two of the three schools in the neighbourhood: Pollard Meadows Elementary School and T.D. Baker Junior High school; and the Edmonton Catholic School System operates the third: Holy Family Junior High School.
