Hazeldean Edmonton Real Estate

The neighbourhood of Hazeldean is located in south east Edmonton, and overlooks the Mill Creek Ravine on its east side. According to the 2001 federal census, 9.2% of the homes in Hazeldean were built before 1946. The majority of homes in Hazeldean were built between 1946 and 1960, when 74.2% were built. Another 10% of homes were constructed in the 1960s, and the other 6.5% were constructed after 1970. Single-family homes are the most common type of home in Hazeldean, and make up a total of 83% of the homes in the neighbourhood, according to the 2005 municipal census. Another 15% is comprised of row houses, and the last 2% is comprised of duplexes. A total of 62% of the homes in Hazeldean are owner-occupied.
